Brevo vs Kit

Brevo and Kit both send email to a list, and that is roughly where the similarity ends. Brevo is a multichannel marketing platform priced by how many emails you send; Kit is built for creators and priced by how many subscribers you have. Those two pricing models pull in opposite directions, and which one suits you depends less on features than on the shape of your list.

Our verdict

Choose Brevo if you send campaigns to a business audience, need SMS, WhatsApp or transactional email from the same account, or have a large list you mail infrequently. Volume pricing rewards exactly that pattern: Starter is $9 a month from 5,000 emails and Standard $18 with automation, A/B testing and a landing page. The free forever tier caps sending at 300 a day, which rules out most real campaigns but is enough to build in. Choose Kit if you are the product — a writer, creator or educator selling to people who subscribed to you. Its free plan runs to 10,000 subscribers, which is far more generous than anything Brevo offers, and paid plans start at $33 a month at 1,000 subscribers. You are paying for the audience relationship rather than the send volume, and for the ability to sell digital products and paid subscriptions without a second tool. The trap is picking on headline price. A 20,000-subscriber list that gets one email a month is cheap on Brevo and expensive on Kit; a 2,000-subscriber list mailed three times a week is the reverse. Work out your own sends per month before comparing the two numbers. Kit is deliberately limited on email design and Brevo's built-in CRM is basic, so neither replaces a dedicated tool in those areas.
