Affiliate disclosure
VERILO may earn a commission when you purchase or subscribe through certain links. This does not increase the price you pay and does not determine our editorial recommendations.

What an affiliate link is
When you click “Visit” on a tool page, the link goes through verilo/go/…, which records an anonymous click and forwards you to the vendor. For some vendors that destination is an affiliate link: if you later buy or subscribe, the vendor pays VERILO a commission. You pay the same price either way.
Which links are affiliate links
Only vendors with an active, verified affiliate program are sent through affiliate links. For everyone else, the link goes straight to the vendor’s website. Outbound links carry rel="sponsored nofollow" so search engines can tell them apart.
What affiliate relationships do not change
- Finder recommendations and match scores. Commission is not an input to the scoring model.
- Search results, category listings and “alternatives” pages, which are ordered by editorial rating and relevance.
- Editorial ratings, pros and cons, or which tools we list.
Affiliate data is stored in a separate table from the catalogue, and the code that ranks tools never reads it.
Featured and sponsored placement
Editors may feature tools on the homepage; these are labelled “Editor’s pick” and are not paid. If VERILO ever offers paid placement, it will be labelled as sponsored and will never appear inside organic recommendations.
