Jasper

Jasper is an AI writing and content platform aimed at marketing teams rather than individual writers. It generates blog posts, ad copy, emails, product descriptions and social posts from prompts and templates. Its distinguishing features are Brand Voice and Style Guide, which store tone rules, terminology and sample copy so output stays consistent across a team, and Knowledge assets that let it draw on company facts. Jasper Chat, a Chrome extension that works inside Google Docs and other web apps, and Jasper Art for images round out the product, and in 2025 the company added Jasper Agents for multi-step marketing tasks.

Jasper launched in 2021 on top of GPT models and now routes requests across several third-party models. It is used by content and demand-generation teams at mid-size and large companies, and the Business tier adds SSO, API access, roles and unlimited brand voices.

Pricing is per seat: Creator is $49 per month ($39 billed annually) for one seat and one brand voice, Pro is $69 per month ($59 annually) with three brand voices and up to five seats, and Business is custom. The 7-day free trial requires a card. Compared with general assistants such as ChatGPT or Claude it costs considerably more, so it makes most sense where brand controls and team workflows are the point.
