Trello
Kanban-style board tool from Atlassian for organizing tasks with cards, lists and Power-Up add-ons.
Overview
Trello is a visual task management tool built around Kanban boards, where work is represented as cards moving across lists. Owned by Atlassian, it is one of the simplest project tools to adopt and is popular with individuals, small teams and non-technical departments that want a lightweight way to track work without a formal process.
The paid Premium tier unlocks calendar, timeline, table, dashboard and map views, and Butler automation rules run on every plan with monthly limits. Power-Ups extend boards with integrations and extra fields and are available on all plans. Trello is deliberately less structured than tools like Asana or monday.com: there are no native task dependencies, workload views or advanced reporting, and large boards can become hard to manage.
The Free plan supports unlimited cards, up to 10 boards per Workspace and up to 10 collaborators. Standard costs approximately $6 per user per month billed monthly (about $5 annually), Premium approximately $12.50 monthly (about $10 annually), and Enterprise is billed annually with per-seat pricing that decreases at higher user counts.
