Kapwing is an online video editor with a collaborative workspace and a broad set of AI tools for subtitles, dubbing, translation and repurposing. Everything runs in the browser: a multi-track timeline, a text-based editor that cuts video by deleting words from the transcript, automatic captions in dozens of languages, AI voices and dubbing, a script-to-video generator, screen recording and utilities such as background removal and smart cut for silences.

It is popular with social media managers, educators and small content teams who need to turn long-form recordings into captioned clips for TikTok, Reels and Shorts, and with agencies that want shared workspaces, comments and a brand kit. Compared with desktop editors, color grading and audio tooling are basic, and heavy projects depend on cloud rendering speed. The free tier exports at 720p with a watermark and limits video length to a few minutes.

Pricing is per user. Pro is approximately $16 a month billed annually (about $24 month to month) and removes the watermark, raises export quality and adds a monthly allowance of AI subtitle and dubbing minutes. Business, at approximately $50 a month annually, increases those allowances and adds team management and more storage. Enterprise adds SSO and custom contracts.
