Coda is a document platform in which a doc can hold formatted text, relational tables, buttons, controls and automations, so a single page can behave like a lightweight app. Tables in one doc reference each other, views filter the same data in different ways, and a spreadsheet-style formula language drives calculations and logic. Product, operations and planning teams use it for roadmaps, meeting rituals, OKR tracking and internal tools.
Its distinctive pricing charges only for Doc Makers, the people who create docs; editors and viewers are free, which keeps costs down for teams where a few people build and many contribute. Packs connect docs to services such as Slack, Jira, GitHub, Gmail and Salesforce, and Coda AI features are available on paid plans. Coda was acquired by Grammarly in late 2024.
